My sister and I planted a garden in early May and we are just now getting tons of veggies! Today we picked hundreds of green beans and peas and we even have one kohlrabi ready. Our cucumber plants are growing like crazy and soon we'll have a lot of tomatoes! I'm so excited! I love going to farmers markets but I think its really neat to have all of these veggies growing right in my back yard.It looks like I'll have to freeze most of the beans, there's no way we could eat all of them before they'd go bad.
When we planted the garden it seemed so spread out, not anymore. Now all the plants are growing on top of each other. Next year I'll plant a bigger garden.
